About the job

Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience in creative direct-to-consumer advertising and A/B testing, with an emphasis on design over data.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing design and video editing capabilities that enhance user experience and conversions.
  • Expertise in creative research, visual storytelling, and a strategic approach to design integrated with marketing goals.
  • A solid grasp of digital platforms and performance metrics, with a high standard for design aesthetics.
  • Active engagement with industry trends, including direct-to-consumer Twitter spaces and creative testing discussions.
Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain a repeatable research system across advertisements, customer reviews, voice of customer, competitors, forums, market trends, and customer pain points.
  • Organize insights into queryable, structured systems for rapid creative ideation.
  • Tag and categorize research by angle, pain point, persona, mechanism, product benefit, objection, funnel stage, and creative format.
  • Turn research inputs into creative opportunities, briefs, hooks, and testable hypotheses.
  • Build structured creative testing frameworks across hooks, angles, formats, personas, funnel stages, and stock-keeping units.
  • Design test matrices that isolate variables and identify performance drivers.
  • Use performance data to identify winners, losers, fatigue, scaling potential, and next-best iterations.
  • Connect creative tests to business metrics such as customer acquisition cost, blended marketing efficiency ratio, customer lifetime value, spend level, and scaling constraints.
  • Scale winning concepts across new formats, funnels, channels, geographies, and products.
  • Create structured creative briefs defining the hook, angle, persona, pain point, product mechanism, visual direction, format, objective, and funnel stage.
  • Ensure every brief is grounded in customer insight, research, performance data, and business priorities.
  • Build reusable briefing systems for adapting winning concepts across stock-keeping units and formats.
  • Map creatives to top-of-funnel, middle-of-funnel, and bottom-of-funnel stages with clear strategic intent.
  • Design workflows from research through briefing, production, quality assurance, launch, analysis, and iteration.
  • Create modular production systems that allow multiple formats, stock-keeping units, and concepts to move in parallel.
  • Define ownership, handoffs, service-level agreements, and quality standards across creative production.
  • Identify and remove production bottlenecks before they slow output.
  • Work with designers, copywriters, editors, media buyers, and operators to maintain a predictable launch cadence.
  • Continuously improve and automate the production system where possible.
  • Work with media buyers, creative teams, growth, operations, product, and other stakeholders to diagnose performance and production issues.
  • Coordinate rapid resolution across teams when creative output, testing velocity, or performance is blocked.
  • Translate performance issues into clear creative or operational action steps.
  • Ensure learnings are shared across teams and channels.
  • Help scale creative output across acquisition channels such as Meta, Google, TikTok, and other relevant channels.
  • Achieve high click-through rates and engagement ratios with content that encourages shares and positive interactions.
  • Improve conversion rate, average order value, and customer lifetime value through A/B testing and design enhancements.
  • Deliver ad concepts that meet or exceed campaign standards and maintain a high ad-grade success rate across tests.
