Requirements
  • Significant hands-on product management experience with apps used for connected products, particularly apps designed to deliver firmware updates to user devices.
  • A track record of shipping features that moved a core metric such as retention or engagement.
  • Strong technical fluency and comfort discussing application programming interfaces, app architecture, and platform constraints.
  • Demonstrable experience with modern user testing, digital product development, and agile processes.
  • Ability to define objectives and key results based on strategic priorities and run quarterly roadmaps from discovery through delivery.
  • Experience running A/B tests and interpreting results with statistical rigor.

Responsibilities
  • Translate user research, analytics, support tickets, and app store reviews into opportunities that deliver value to users and the business.
  • Own the product vision and strategy for the app area and gain organizational buy-in.
  • Own the mobile app roadmap end-to-end, from discovery through launch and post-launch iteration.
  • Analyze app analytics and metrics to understand user journeys.
  • Run structured experiments, including A/B tests and phased rollouts, and make ship, iterate, or stop decisions based on data.
  • Define success metrics for every feature and set up the app to track retention, adoption, engagement, and conversion.
  • Collaborate with product and marketing teams to maximize value for users and the business.
  • Communicate user needs, roadmap, tradeoffs, and progress clearly to leadership and stakeholders across the company.
  • Create product demos that convey the product vision and user benefits.
  • Document release notes for audiences including quality, regulatory, and compliance partners.
  • Write clear user stories and acceptance criteria for the development team.
  • Partner daily with design, the technical lead, and the technical program manager to scope work, unblock decisions, and keep releases on track in the scrum team.
  • Triage and prioritize bugs, technical debt, and platform updates such as iOS and Android operating system changes alongside new feature work.
  • Drive outcomes throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring products meet user needs, are delivered effectively, and are continuously improved.

Lego unveils SMART Play Gateway at San Diego Comic-Con with interactive Pokémon and Star Wars experiences

The LEGO Group unveiled the LEGO SMART Play Gateway at San Diego Comic-Con 2026, an interactive booth experience featuring two immersive destinations. Attendees can explore a LEGO Pokémon Lab and a Mos Eisley Cantina recreation, both powered by SMART Play technology. The SMART Play platform centres on the SMART Brick, a 2x4 brick containing over 20 patented technologies that enable real-time interactive play through motion sensing, light and sound synthesis. The company also revealed new sets at the event. The LEGO Icons Star Trek U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701 Bridge, a 1,701-piece set priced at $199.99, launches 1 September exclusively at LEGO stores and online. The LEGO Donkey Kong Arcade, also $199.99, becomes available 1 August. The LEGO Minifigures Shrek Series releases 1 September at $4.99 per mystery box. The booth ran from 23-26 July at booth number 2829.

Lego hits record $12.9B in sales by adapting factories to tariffs
