About the job

Requirements
  • At least 5 years of in-house talent acquisition experience, including meaningful experience in technology, fintech, or high-growth environments across Southeast Asia.
  • Personally owned end-to-end hiring across multiple role types and seniority levels, rather than only managing a team that performs it.
  • Demonstrated track record in targeted recruitment campaigns and direct sourcing, with clear examples of what was built and produced.
  • Experience working with and influencing hiring managers and other stakeholders on hiring decisions, rather than only executing instructions.
  • Comfort building and improving talent acquisition operations and managing change effectively.
  • Working understanding of the talent market across Singapore and the broader Southeast Asia region, particularly in fintech and technology, including candidate sourcing, attraction, and market differences in compensation and expectations.
  • Ability to analyze and communicate talent acquisition data, interpret recruiting metrics accurately, translate them into business terms, and use data to make decisions.
  • Ability to improve processes and tools for scale and make deliberate decisions about productivity.
Responsibilities
  • Own the full recruitment cycle for an assigned portfolio of roles and meet agreed benchmarks for speed, quality, and cost of hire.
  • Manage multiple active searches simultaneously while maintaining hiring standards.
  • Build and maintain warm pipelines for assigned roles, particularly evergreen, high-frequency, and hard-to-fill positions.
  • Develop sourcing channels and relationships to reduce reliance on inbound and reactive hiring.
  • Monitor qualitative and quantitative measures covering speed, quality, cost of hire, and pre-requisition readiness; analyze signals of market changes, improvement opportunities, capacity, and risks.
  • Help put the intended organizational culture into practice, understand and adopt MoneySmart’s culture, values, and mission, assess candidates deeply for culture fit, and communicate the importance of culture to new joiners.
  • Take ownership of improving specific processes, tools, or practices within the role’s remit; document effective approaches, fix ineffective ones, and recommend broader changes to raise standards.
  • Proactively identify gaps, biases, and blind spots in hiring managers’ assessment and decision-making, and coach them to improve hiring decisions.
  • Ensure candidate interactions reflect MoneySmart’s values and employer brand, monitor the company’s market perception, and contribute to strengthening its presence with target candidate pools.
