Requirements
  • Prior work experience in a client-centric sales environment.
  • Extensive product knowledge and strong selling skills.
  • Ability to embody the brand aesthetic and demonstrate a strong sense of fashion.
  • Availability for 24–30 hours per week.
  • Ability to occasionally lift or move up to 30 pounds.
  • Ability to perform the physical functions required for the role, including standing, walking, reaching, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling, and close-vision tasks.
Responsibilities
  • Support a best-in-class level of customer service through extensive product knowledge, strong selling skills, and authentic clienteling.
  • Meet store and metric goals.
  • Maintain the store's selling focus and support company and management initiatives while adhering to organizational policies and procedures.
  • Ensure the brand mission is brought to life and introduced to everyone who enters the store.
  • Assist the Visual Merchandising team with floor sets, window changes, and other projects as needed.
  • Maintain knowledge and understanding of all policies and procedures.
  • Assist with inventory and stock management.
  • Accurately process point-of-sale transactions.
  • Act consistently within the company's core values.
  • Identify opportunities to support the team in delivering best-in-class customer service.
  • Contribute to a positive, professional, productive, and team-oriented store atmosphere.

Rag & Bone appoints Valentina Lucaj as brand president as Andrew Rosen steps back

Andrew Rosen is stepping back from day-to-day operations at Rag & Bone, transitioning from executive chairman to a strategic advisory role. Valentina Lucaj, formerly president of the Americas for Fendi, will take over as brand president in a newly created position. Rosen led the company through its acquisition by Guess and WHP Global in February 2024, committing to oversee the transition period. The business has grown approximately 30 per cent annually over the past two years. Lucaj, who spent nearly a decade at Louis Vuitton and held senior positions at Saint Laurent and Prada, will oversee marketing, merchandising and commercial strategy. She will focus on expanding wholesale, direct-to-consumer channels, international markets and accessory categories. Rag & Bone operates 67 stores globally, with international business representing 12 per cent of revenue.

The first collection will be unveiled in Florence for autumn/winter 2026. Rag & Bone has announced the appointment of Swaim Hutson to the role of head of menswear design. The brand's strategy includes the debut of the designer's first collection in Florence at Pitti Uomo in January 2026, presenting the autumn/winter 2026 season. The move, according to a statement, aims to consolidate the brand's positioning in denim and tailoring, key sectors for the new creative direction. Andrew Rosen, executive chairman of Rag & Bone, commented on the appointment: "Swaim brings an innovative vision of creativity and craftsmanship, reinforcing the essence of the brand: the elegance of British tailoring combined with the authenticity of American sportswear." Hutson has two decades of experience in the international menswear segment. The designer founded the brand Obedient Sons, a finalist at the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund. He has held creative director positions at 3.1 Phillip Lim, Club Monaco and Generra. He subsequently founded The Academy New York. "Rag & bone has always been synonymous with authenticity and innovation," said Hutson regarding his new role.
