Requirements
  • A Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, nonprofit management, business administration, public relations, or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in nonprofit development, fundraising, marketing, communications, or community engagement is required.
  • Demonstrated success in donor cultivation, fundraising strategy, community partnership development, and public engagement is required.
  • Experience planning and executing community events, campaigns, and outreach initiatives is required.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills are required.
  • Familiarity with donor management systems, customer relationship management platforms, social media platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite is required.
  • A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
Responsibilities
  • Advance the mission and visibility of Monadnock Family Services through strategic community engagement, donor stewardship, marketing initiatives, and resource development.
  • Serve as a key ambassador for the organization by strengthening relationships with donors, community partners, businesses, and stakeholders.
  • Lead implementation of the organization’s development and engagement strategy, including annual giving, donor relations, community partnerships, fundraising campaigns, public awareness efforts, special events, and communications initiatives.
  • Work closely with leadership, the Development sub-committee of the Board of Directors, and community stakeholders to cultivate sustainable philanthropic support and deepen community connection to the organization’s mission.
  • Lead community engagement and public relations activities.
  • Lead development strategy and fundraising activities.
  • Manage donor stewardship and relationship management.
  • Lead marketing and communications initiatives.
  • Plan events and community initiatives.
  • Oversee the team and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Handle compliance and reporting.
  • Travel locally and regionally for meetings, community events, donor visits, conferences, and partnership activities.
  • Work some evening or weekend hours for events and community engagement activities.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience working with boards, committees, volunteers, and community stakeholders is preferred.
  • Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, nonprofit, or community-based organizations is preferred.
