About the job
- A current nursing license valid in Illinois is required.
- CPR certification is required.
- Weekend availability is required.
- Provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise and coordinate CNA activities to ensure a high degree of quality care.
- Manage resident admissions, transfers, and discharges.
- Administer medications and treatments and maintain proper unit charting in accordance with federal, state, and local standards and regulations and department policies and procedures.
- Maintain a high standard of resident care.
- Respond immediately to crises and calls for assistance.
- Support the facility’s and Nursing Service’s philosophy through quality nursing care.
- Greater than two years of clinical experience is preferred.
- One year of long-term care experience is preferred.
