  • Maintain a consistent Nolla identity across apps as new specialty apps launch, enabling a new specialty app to be set up in weeks.
  • Apply the visual identity consistently across the product, App Store, and launch materials.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience designing for healthcare, clinical, or another regulated, high-stakes domain.
  • Experience designing AI-native products involving chat, multimodal input, uncertainty, and human-in-the-loop review.
  • Experience building or maintaining a design system used across several apps.
  • Experience running a user research program, including recruiting, interviews, and synthesis.

AI acne treatment: Nolla Health offers prescriptions via app.

AI acne treatment: Nolla Health offers prescriptions via app. The future of dermatology is here! A new healthcare startup in Utah is pioneering AI acne treatment, enabling users to get prescription-strength solutions simply by scanning their faces with an app. TL;DR (too long; didn't read). * Nolla Health has launched an AI-powered app in Utah for autonomous acne prescriptions. * Users can scan their faces with the app, allowing AI to analyze acne severity and generate a prescription. * This service aims to make AI acne treatment more accessible and efficient for patients. * It signifies a major step in integrating artificial intelligence into routine dermatological healthcare. The dawn of AI acne treatment. In a groundbreaking move for digital healthcare, Nolla Health, an innovative healthcare startup, recently announced a revolutionary service in Utah: AI acne treatment. This marks a significant leap in how individuals can access dermatological care, bypassing traditional in-person consultations for common skin conditions. As initially reported by Bloomberg, the service allows users to receive an acne prescription autonomously generated by an artificial intelligence system. Nolla Health's innovative approach. Nolla Health's mobile application, available to residents in Utah, empowers users to utilize their smartphone cameras to scan their faces. This digital scan feeds into Nolla Health's proprietary AI system, which then performs a detailed analysis of the user's skin condition, specifically focusing on acne severity analysis. Based on this intricate assessment, the AI is capable of autonomously writing a suitable acne prescription, streamlining a process that traditionally requires a visit to a dermatologist. How ai-powered dermatology works. The core of Nolla Health's service lies in its sophisticated AI algorithms. These algorithms are trained on vast datasets of dermatological images and corresponding diagnoses, enabling them to recognize patterns and levels of acne with remarkable precision. From facial scan to prescription. When a user initiates a facial scan, the app captures high-resolution images of their skin. The AI then processes these images, identifying various types of lesions, inflammation, and overall skin health indicators. This advanced acne severity analysis forms the basis for the AI's diagnostic capabilities. Once the severity is determined, the AI cross-references it with approved treatment protocols and available prescription drugs, ultimately generating a tailored prescription. This innovative form of AI acne treatment offers a rapid and convenient alternative to conventional methods, providing access to necessary medications without delay. Implications for healthcare and patients. The introduction of AI-driven prescription services carries profound implications for the healthcare industry and patient access. This represents a significant step forward in telemedicine and digital health solutions. Accessibility and efficiency. For many, accessing specialized dermatological care can be challenging due to geographical barriers, long waiting times, or high costs. Nolla Health's AI acne treatment addresses these issues head-on, offering an accessible, efficient, and potentially more affordable pathway to treatment. Patients can now receive expert-level analysis and prescriptions from the comfort of their homes, democratizing access to effective acne solutions. This model reduces the burden on healthcare systems and empowers individuals to take more proactive steps in managing their skin health. The future of AI in dermatology. This pioneering effort by Nolla Health is a strong indicator of the expanding role of artificial intelligence in healthcare. As AI models become more sophisticated and regulatory frameworks adapt, The AI Chronicle can anticipate similar AI-powered diagnostic and prescription services emerging for a wider range of conditions. The ability of AI to provide accurate, timely, and personalized medical advice at scale promises to transform patient care, making specialized treatments more available to everyone. Nolla Health's launch in Utah is not just about treating acne; it's about setting a precedent for the future of digital health. What other medical conditions do you think could benefit most from AI-powered diagnostics and prescriptions? Random article. Its mission. The AI Chronicle slice through the noise to bring you the latest breakthroughs, in-depth analyses, and thought-provoking discussions on everything from machine learning and neural networks to robotics and AI ethics. US grants first AI prescription approval to Nolla Health for $4.99/month acne treatment in Utah

Nolla Health has become the first US organisation to receive regulatory approval for AI to issue initial prescriptions. The company's Nolla Derm app, launching in Utah, will prescribe acne treatments to patients aged 18 and older for $4.99 monthly. The system addresses a significant access gap: only 10% of Utah's estimated 100,000 acne patients see a dermatologist, with average wait times reaching 61 days and visits costing up to $300. Eleven Utah counties have no dermatologists at all. The AI operates within physician-approved treatment protocols and includes oversight at every stage. Initially, physicians review every prescription before issuance. Licensed clinicians agree with the system's recommendations in over 96% of cases. The Nolla Derm app has been downloaded by more than 175,000 people across 44 states.
