Requirements
  • A minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Proven experience in systems engineering supporting missile defense or other complex defense systems.
  • Expertise with GTRI Benchmark or AFSIM modeling environments.
  • Strong understanding of MDA system architectures and experience performing analysis to assess potential performance.
  • Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • An active Department of Defense Secret clearance is required to perform the work, with a Secret clearance required upon hire and the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information eligibility.
  • A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field is required.
Responsibilities
  • Perform architecture trade studies, system performance assessments, and capability gap analyses for missile defense systems and future integrated architectures.
  • Utilize the Benchmark model to simulate ballistic and hypersonic threat engagements and evaluate system performance across multiple mission threads.
  • Develop and execute analysis scripts and data post-processing routines using MATLAB and other analytical tools.
  • Integrate modeling and simulation results from AFSIM, Benchmark, or other environments to inform architecture design decisions.
