  • Stay up to date on the latest artificial intelligence research.
  • Think creatively about machine learning problems and pursue real-world customer impact.
Responsibilities
  • Train and deploy state-of-the-art vision models for document processing.
  • Design novel large language model techniques to expand the complexity of use cases and data streams supported by Extend.
  • Monitor existing models in production, identify what is and is not working, and run experiments to resolve issues.
  • Own substantial areas of product and engineering work.
  • Build direct relationships with customers.
  • Work directly with the CEO, CTO, and other founding members.
  • Help build out the team.

Extend builds production-grade document processing infrastructure for AI teams. Parse, its document parsing API, extracts structured data from PDFs and other unstructured documents at scale. It includes confidence scoring, multi-pass review agents, fast and accuracy-optimized processing modes, and Studio for schema iteration without CLI. Its goal is to help enterprise AI teams automate and scale accurate data extraction with traceability and reliability.
