About the job
- Strong communication skills.
- Solid understanding of the software development life cycle and test-driven development.
- Proficiency in writing code and automating infrastructure deployment, improving system reliability, and optimizing continuous delivery pipelines.
- Comfort with Agile methodologies and working closely within small teams.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Extensive knowledge of Linux-based systems, including hardware, software, and networking.
- Strong software and system troubleshooting and problem-solving capability.
- Develop and support cloud infrastructure design and implementation using Mirantis OpenStack Fuel, with a solid understanding of Chef and Puppet.
- Develop and support cloud infrastructure design and implementation using Docker container technology.
- Design and deploy new application enhancements to existing infrastructure.
- Create and maintain documentation related to the cloud platform, applications, and deployed systems, and provide general technical support assistance.
- Perform cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses for proposed systems.
- Develop automation and processes that enable teams to deploy, manage, configure, scale, and monitor their infrastructure and applications in the cloud.
