- Graduate of an accredited program in nursing.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Associate of Science in Nursing degree required.
- Current Registered Nurse license to practice in Tennessee.
- Current Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association per HMC policy.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification through the American Heart Association per HMC policy.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification through the American Heart Association per HMC policy.
- Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Certification.
- Plan, direct, and evaluate total nursing care and functions in the MedSurg unit in accordance with the established patient care plan and philosophy.
- Two years of nursing experience in an acute healthcare setting.
