Requirements
  • Progress toward a bachelor's degree in actuarial science, finance, economics, mathematics, or another business-related area.
  • Expected graduation in winter 2027 or spring 2028.
  • Seeking students on the actuarial track who are interested in pursuing an actuarial career.
  • Commitment to achieving a Society of Actuaries designation.
  • Permanent U.S. work authorization without sponsorship now or in the future; CPT and OPT are not eligible.
  • Strong analytical skills, including quantitative and qualitative analysis.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
  • Knowledge of data analysis.
  • Ability to work in teams and under tight deadlines and changing client needs.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong time management, project management, and organizational skills.
Responsibilities
  • Complete sample project work during the 12-day externship.
  • Shadow analysts and participate in group networking, mentorship, and team-building activities.
  • Gain a deeper understanding of the Marsh Investments and Retirement business.
  • Use simulated projects to develop solutions for major organizations and their employees.
  • Learn about company solutions, strategy, and technology.
  • Connect with experienced professionals across the business.
  • Participate in learning and team-building events.
