Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience in Product Management, Supply Chain Operations, Industrial Engineering, or related technical fields, with exposure to software development environments.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing supply chain operations, including procurement workflows, inventory or warehouse management system logic, bills of materials, component traceability, and vendor management.
  • Comfort with modern software technical concepts, application programming interfaces, database and data structure principles, and working in an environment where product managers push code, run scripts, or build functional prototypes.
  • A proven track record of taking product features from initial customer research and requirements gathering through delivery, launch, and post-release iteration.
  • Ability to map complex multi-party workflows involving suppliers, factory floors, inventory managers, and engineering through edge cases and systemic dependencies.
  • Ability to communicate fluently with factory-floor specialists, supply chain directors, and software engineers.
  • Ability to thrive in an agile startup environment with a high degree of autonomy and ownership.
Responsibilities
  • Define and champion the roadmap for supply chain capabilities, including purchase order tracking, vendor management, inventory allocation, lot and serial traceability, and bill of materials or material requirements planning synchronization, aligned with high-tech hardware manufacturing needs.
  • Partner directly with supply chain directors, procurement leads, inventory managers, and manufacturing engineers to understand operational problems and design software solutions.
  • Translate complex hardware supply chain logic into technical specifications, wireframes, and functional prototypes, and work with engineering to build, test, and ship features.
  • Build functional prototypes, run data queries, and contribute directly to the product codebase when needed.
  • Conduct field research, iterative prototyping, and user acceptance testing with factory and supply chain teams to simplify complex legacy workflows.
  • Analyze user behavior, inventory flow metrics, and customer feedback to measure feature impact, validate product hypotheses, and optimize customer outcomes.
  • Collaborate across Engineering, Product Design, Customer Success, and Sales to ensure supply chain offerings deliver measurable return on investment and seamless customer onboarding.
Desired Qualifications
  • Hands-on experience with hardware or manufacturing supply chain software, such as enterprise resource planning systems including NetSuite or SAP, manufacturing execution systems, product lifecycle management systems, or specialized inventory and procurement systems.
  • Practical coding experience with Python, JavaScript or TypeScript, and SQL, or a background in Software Engineering or Industrial Engineering.
  • Experience utilizing artificial intelligence-assisted tools for rapid prototyping, specification drafting, and data analysis.
  • Experience working directly with advanced hardware manufacturing sectors such as aerospace, defense, automotive, energy, or robotics.
