Java Software Engineer
About the job
- A bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field is required.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Java 17 or later and Spring is required.
- Experience with IDE tooling such as VSCode or similar and working against a central Git repository is required.
- Experience in Aspect-Oriented Programming is required.
- Experience with JPA, JDBC, and containers such as Docker is required.
- Experience working with distributed teams is required.
- Full professional English communication is required.
- Implement coordination logic between services, including which service is called, when it is called, and how data flows between services.
- Build integration and orchestration flows primarily using Spring Integration.
- Implement cross-cutting concerns such as logging, security, and access control using Aspect-Oriented Programming, following defined architecture standards.
- Develop and maintain persistence logic using JPA and JDBC.
- Containerize services using Docker.
- Write, test, and maintain code in a central Git repository using standard IDE tooling such as VSCode or similar.
- Participate in code reviews and follow architecture guidelines set by the Platform Architect.
- Collaborate with distributed team members across the project.
- Reactive application design.
- Experience in a DevOps-automated environment.
- Kubernetes or OpenShift.
- Cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
- Kafka, Redis, relational database management systems, or rule engines such as Drools.
- Asynchronous messaging or long-running workflow patterns.
- Application security concepts, Entra ID, and JSON Web Tokens.
