Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in software and data engineering
  • Fluency in working with SQL and analyzing and modeling complex data
  • Experience developing production-grade software in Python is required
  • Experience building ETL/ELT stream/batch pipelines on big data platforms such as Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Databricks (Spark), or others. Deep Snowflake experience is a strong plus.
  • Experience orchestrating data engineering pipelines with Airflow
  • Fluency with modern software development environments and tooling, e.g., Git, Jira, CircleCI (or similar CI/CD), Bazel
  • B.S. or equivalent in computer science, math, or a similar technical field is preferred. An advanced degree is a plus.
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with peers across the entire range of development activities that include distilling owning epics and stories and implementation, testing, productization, monitoring, and maintenance of production code.
  • Strong problem-solving skills in optimizing solutions for improved performance, scalability, and reduced infrastructure and/or support costs.
  • Support the team and data environment by periodically being on call.
