Figma Files for IPO After Adobe Deal Collapse

Figma has filed for an IPO on the NYSE under the ticker "FIG" after Adobe's $20 billion acquisition deal fell through due to regulatory issues. Revenue surged 46% year-over-year, reaching $228 million in Q1 2025, driven by AI and enterprise growth. The failed acquisition allowed Figma to maintain control and receive a $1 billion termination fee from Adobe, boosting AI and R&D investments. The IPO aims to capitalize on Figma's independence and market position.
