About the job
- A Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders is required.
- State licensure or certification as a speech-language pathologist, or willingness to obtain reciprocity, is required.
- Ability to design and deliver lesson plans aligned to student goals and accommodations is required.
- Strong virtual instruction skills, including comfort with video conferencing and digital whiteboards and keeping students engaged online, are required.
- Ability to pass a background check is required.
- A reliable computer, internet connection, webcam, and quiet workspace are required.
- Deliver individualized virtual speech therapy tailored to each student's communication goals, speech-language disorders, and learning profile.
- Create structured intervention plans aligned with student IEP goals, targeting articulation, language delays, fluency, voice, and augmentative and alternative communication needs.
- Adapt instruction and therapeutic exercises in real time based on student engagement, energy, and progress, using interactive digital tools.
- Track student data and communicate with families, IEP teams, and school district partners to support regulatory compliance and transparent progress reporting.
- An ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is preferred.
- Experience delivering teletherapy or working within a school district setting is a strong plus.
- Bilingual ability in Spanish and English is a plus.
