Requirements
- A completed, very good full-time Master's degree, for example in business administration, economics, industrial engineering, business informatics, human resources management, business psychology, or a comparable program.
- A commercial focus combined with interest in people and organizational topics is ideal.
- Initial practical exposure in at least one of HR, controlling, finance, procurement, sales, strategy, or business development is required.
- The candidate should think entrepreneurially, recognize cross-functional relationships, and derive clear courses of action from data, market requirements, and employee perspectives.
- The candidate should be able to engage and inspire people, build trusting relationships, and value clear goals, collaboration, and people's development.
- The candidate should question existing processes, develop sustainable solutions, and advance topics from analysis through implementation; interest in digitalization, transformation, and new business models is expected.
- The candidate should want to take responsibility and develop toward a leadership role over the long term, while remaining open to different career paths in HR or commercial functions.
- The candidate should be curious, learn quickly, and actively use new tasks, perspectives, and feedback for personal growth; willingness to move between HR and business contexts is expected.
- Negotiation-level English is required; good German is desirable.
- At least three months of international experience and openness to an international assignment are required.
- An MBA, doctorate, or initial relevant professional experience may also be part of the candidate's background.
Responsibilities
- Combine HR and commercial assignments in Germany and abroad over the 12–24-month program and develop an understanding of how people, organization, and business performance interact.
- Work on strategically relevant projects and gain exposure to HR strategy, digitalization, HR business partnering, talent management, organizational development, controlling, finance, or business development, depending on profile and development goals.
- Shape strategic and operational projects, including work in restructuring and mergers and acquisitions, employer branding, performance management, or digitalization.
- Take responsibility for work packages or projects, prepare management decisions, and implement sustainable improvements with international and local teams.
- Build a career profile through HR and business rotations, regular feedback, and guidance from a senior-leadership mentor.
- Complete 4–6 rotations across HR and commercial functions, aligned with the candidate's profile, business needs, and intended career path.
- Participate in an international rotation and engage with the global trainee community.
