- Coordinate housekeepers’ work and prepare work schedules.
- Organize cleaning of hotel rooms and common areas according to hotel standards.
- Define workflows and standards.
- Supervise daily work and ensure cleanliness standards in hotel rooms and guest areas.
- Actively support the supervisor and replace them when necessary.
- Ensure ongoing guest satisfaction.
- Regularly inspect cleaning quality and track correction of deficiencies.
- Collaborate and communicate with other department managers and the reception team.
- Check, record, and order equipment, supplies, and material inventory used by the department.
- Participate in selecting new employees and train new employees.
- Liaise with external staffing agencies and optimize external labor costs.
- Liaise with the laundry and other external service providers.
- Optimize the housekeeping department’s budget, labor use, and material consumption.
- Ensure compliance with hygiene, occupational safety, and chemical-handling requirements.
