About the job

Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience in construction or commercial maintenance.
  • Proficiency in carpentry, including partition framing with metal or wood studs, basic cabinetry and countertop installation, and door and window installation.
  • Proficiency in interior and exterior painting.
  • Proficiency in flooring installation, including vinyl composition tile, luxury vinyl tile, tile, carpet squares, and cove base.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to follow Occupational Safety and Health Administration requirements.
  • Ability to document repairs in detail, including measurements, pictures, repair recommendations, and quotes.
  • Ability to work overtime and/or on-call as workload and emergency issues require.
  • Willingness and ability to travel and work overnight shifts throughout the United States when needed.
  • Ability to supply basic construction hand tools.
  • An Occupational Safety and Health Administration 10-hour certification, or completion of the certification within 3 months of employment.
Responsibilities
  • Perform commercial renovations and buildouts.
  • Communicate with customers to build relationships.
  • Make detailed records of repairs, including measurements, pictures, recommendations for repairs, and quotes.
  • Travel and work overnight shifts throughout the United States when needed.
Desired Qualifications
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing, including replacement and installation of sinks, faucets, toilets, and basic drainage and water lines.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical work, including replacement and installation of light fixtures, switches, and outlets, basic data connections, and diagnosis of minor electrical problems.
  • Knowledge of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning, refrigeration, and preventive maintenance service calls.
  • Licensed plumbers and licensed electricians are encouraged to apply.
