Cox Automotive embeds Fullpath's AI-powered CDP directly into VinSolutions CRM for dealerships

Cox Automotive's VinSolutions is embedding Fullpath's AI-powered Customer Data Platform directly into its CRM for mutual clients. The integration eliminates the need for a separate login, placing customer intelligence and AI insights within the existing VinSolutions interface that sales representatives use daily. The embedded CDP surfaces AI-generated customer summaries and website activity data directly in customer profiles. Marketing directors can identify in-market shoppers, while sales teams access AI-powered insights without switching tools. The upgrade is being rolled out to all customers with both VinSolutions CRM and Fullpath through the end of the year. "What's unique about Fullpath and VinSolutions is that the embedded CDP can also be upgraded seamlessly with Agentic AI capabilities," said Paulo da Silva, VP of Digital Commerce at Cox Automotive. Cox Automotive acquired Fullpath earlier this year.

Used car values drop as fuel costs and rising rates drive depreciation, Cox Automotive cuts 2026 forecast to 0.2%

The Manheim Used Vehicle Value Index fell to 205.9 in September, down 0.6% year over year and 1.1% from August. Cox Automotive now expects the index to finish 2026 up approximately 0.2% year over year, down from a 2% increase forecast in July. Depreciation accelerated in the third quarter amid higher fuel costs, rising interest rates and broader economic pressure. Diesel prices hit record highs whilst EV values increased as sustained high petrol prices supported demand for fuel-efficient vehicles. Wholesale EV sales at Manheim increased 45% from a year ago, reaching a record 4.9% of all transactions in Q3. Used retail EV sales totalled approximately 124,000 units in the third quarter.

Cox Automotive raises 2026 forecast to 16.1M vehicles as Asian brands capture record share

Cox Automotive has raised its full-year 2026 new-vehicle sales forecast to 16.1 million units from 15.8 million, citing resilient demand despite economic headwinds. September sales are expected to increase 6.5% year over year, though the seasonally adjusted annual rate is forecast at 16.3 million, down from August's 16.8 million pace. Asian brands continue gaining market share, expected to account for over half of US new-vehicle sales for a second consecutive quarter. Meanwhile, the Detroit 3 automakers are forecast to fall to just over 36% market share, the lowest level on record. Strong fleet sales, wealthier buyers, and improved credit access are supporting the market. General Motors is expected to remain the top-selling automaker, though Toyota continues closing the gap.

Cox Automotive partners with Nova Credit to embed cash flow intelligence into Dealertrack

Cox Automotive has partnered with Nova Credit to integrate cash flow intelligence into Dealertrack, its credit application and digital contracting network. The integration features Nova Credit's Income Navigator, which automates income verification at the point of sale using bank, payroll, and document data. The tool aims to reduce manual reviews, prevent fraud, and accelerate funding decisions. Westlake Financial is among the first lenders adopting the system. With US new-vehicle sales projected to reach 15.7 million in 2026, down from the previous year, lenders and dealers face increased competition for qualified buyers. The partnership responds to this pressure by streamlining verification processes. Cox Automotive and Nova Credit are exploring further applications, including Cash Atlas, a cash flow underwriting solution designed to help lenders assess borrowers' ability to pay more accurately.
