About the job

Requirements
  • Professional experience developing with Apex and Lightning Web Components, including debugging and maintaining existing Salesforce code.
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce flows, custom objects and fields, page layouts, permission sets, and automation, including recognizing when configuration can solve an issue.
  • Professional experience building, maintaining, or supporting C#/.NET applications or services.
  • Working knowledge of Azure and cloud infrastructure, particularly Blob Storage, APIs, and integrations.
  • Experience with Salesforce managed package architecture, including first-generation (1GP), second-generation (2GP) or unlocked packages, or migrations between them.
  • Ability to independently diagnose whether an issue involves configuration, code, an integration, or another cause.
  • Ability to work with technical and non-technical teammates and clients, ask questions, and clearly explain technical issues.
Responsibilities
  • Take ownership of Tier 3 bugs and technical issues requiring development expertise, including Apex and Lightning Web Component fixes and second-generation unlocked package development.
  • Build and maintain Salesforce solutions across Apex, Lightning Web Components, automation, and managed package architecture to maintain and extend the HandsOn Connect platform.
  • Maintain the C#/.NET aggregator and integration services that sync data between Salesforce and external systems.
  • Maintain Azure Blob Storage integrations, Azure-hosted APIs, and related cloud infrastructure supporting file storage, geolocation, and other platform functionality.
  • Diagnose whether issues are best solved through Salesforce configuration, code, or an integration fix, and develop solutions for problems requiring code.
  • Support legacy first-generation managed packages and modern second-generation unlocked packages, including migrations where needed.
  • Partner with Customer Experience and Salesforce Admin teams on escalated cases and help define which issues belong in Tier 2 versus Tier 3.
  • Partner with Sales and Solutions to understand customer requirements, assess technical feasibility, and provide development input for proposed solutions or future builds.
  • Contribute to custom, client-facing projects alongside the Customer Experience team.
Desired Qualifications
  • Salesforce certifications such as Administrator, Platform Developer I, or Platform Developer II.
  • Experience with nonprofit, volunteer management, or other vertical software-as-a-service platforms.
  • Experience with Jira-based development workflows and service-level-agreement-driven support environments.
  • Experience in a smaller Salesforce or .NET/Azure development environment with broad ownership across the technology stack.
  • Prior consulting, sales engineering, or similar experience working directly with non-technical teammates and customers.
