Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or similar
  • 7 – 15 years of experience in the water industry
  • Experience with using hydrology and hydraulic modelling software GIS, TUFLOW, HEC-RAS or MUSIC
  • A good understanding of industry standards such as Australian Rainfall and Runoff guidelines (AR&R)
  • Experience in preparing winning proposals and the successful delivery of projects
  • The ability to lead and/or work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team across the project lifecycle
  • Strong client relationship skills and project management skills in water resources projects
Responsibilities
  • A broad range of projects including major infrastructure, flood risk assessments and mitigation, stormwater and waterway management
  • Conducting hydrology, hydraulic modelling, flood modelling and mapping
  • Leading hydrological and hydraulic modelling and analysis to inform planning studies through to detailed design of new infrastructure
  • Delivering creative solutions, proposals, and technical reporting
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships, including business development, and engagement throughout project delivery
  • Technical leadership and project management to guide key projects and mentoring other team members
