Responsibilities
  • Plans, selects, lays out, and cuts materials for shop carpentry to construct, remodel, alter, and repair offices, furniture, stairways, factory partitions, benches, storage bins, shelves, and similar items.
  • Performs general building maintenance, including repairs to roofs, stairs, doors, windows, and flooring.
  • Measures tooling and builds sturdy blocks to rest tooling on.
  • Bands, lags, and secures fencing, skids, and other tooling.
  • Works under the direct supervision of a senior carpenter or carpenter lead.
  • Assists with general utility and shipping/receiving duties as needed.
