Requirements

Responsibilities
  • Achieve warehouse operations and operational objectives by contributing warehouse operations information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews, preparing and completing action plans, implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards, resolving problems, completing audits, and identifying trends.
  • Manage the warehouse as a service and manage all programs based out of the warehouse.
  • Support and allocate resources for all programs based out of the warehouse.
  • Manage all operations for integration-facility logistics requirements.
  • Maintain proficiency in relevant policies and procedures and articulate and enforce those policies and procedures.
  • Maintain operational focus on supplier performance, day-to-day delivery resolution, and procure-to-pay issues.
  • Provide expertise in processes and systems; contribute to developing and implementing enterprise-wide procurement processes and systems, including documentation; and optimize procure-to-payment processes and information systems based on business needs, performance, and strategic objectives.
  • Oversee system integration and quality-control procedures for all systems processed and delivered, including associated documentation such as standard operating procedures, Quality Review Checklists, DA2062s, and DD250s.
  • Evaluate and measure vendor performance against lead time, delivery appointments, quality, and contract commitments.
  • Maintain positive vendor relationships and visit vendor sites as required by business needs.
  • Communicate oral and written resolutions of issues to internal and external partners.
  • Inspect the physical condition of the warehouse and equipment and prepare work orders for repairs and requisitions for replacement equipment.
  • Strategically manage the warehouse in compliance with company policies and vision.
  • Maintain quality standards consistent with GIDEP, DCMA Self Certification, and ISO 9001.
  • Set up and lay out the warehouse and ensure efficient space utilization.
  • Document assessment findings in analytical documents and reports, including trend, technical, and statistical summaries; extract lessons learned; report findings to customers; and incorporate lessons learned into future logistics efforts.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.
  • Act as a subject-matter expert for selected equipment and equipment families.
  • Assist with designing and implementing work methods and operational procedures for verifying incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposing of materials, and keeping warehouse inventory current.
  • Supervise and coordinate daily activities of workers engaged in materials movement and handling, receiving, loading, unloading, stacking, order filling, shipping, and maintaining stock in a storeroom or warehouse.
Desired Qualifications
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt is preferred.
  • Successfully passing background and drug screening is preferred.

What is the Scope of the FBI Academy Contract? Chenega told ExecutiveBiz on Wednesday that the security services required under the contract include access control, visitor screening and visitor badge processing. The contract has a performance period of 5 years and is worth $6.4 million. Work begins May 2026. Commenting on the award, CNI President David Pine said, "The Chenega team is proud to have been awarded this contract once again and continue its partnership with the FBI's Training Division." "Supporting the FBI Academy is an important component of Chenega's law enforcement agency business line which includes projects with the United States Secret Service James J. Rowley Training Center, DHS Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers and the NASA Protective Services Training Academy," Pine added. What other security services contracts has CNI secured in 2026? The contract with the FBI Academy is CNI's latest security services award from U.S. government customers this year. In late March, the Chenega subsidiary announced having secured an $8.5 million contract to continue its role of supporting force protection operations at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' Humphreys Engineer Center in Alexandria, Virginia. CNI had delivered similar services since 2023, and with the contract, the company would continue providing support through September 2030. And in early March, CNI secured a five-year, $78.6 million task order from the Department of Homeland Security via its FPS Acquisition Division multiple award contract for protective security officer services. The award called for the provision of access control, patrol support and other armed security guard services at IRS headquarters in Washington, D.C., and the IRS New Carrollton Center in Lanham, Maryland. Work on the contract is expected to start in June and run through May 2031.
