  • Serve as the primary technical expert for Deposition processes, equipment capability, process controls, and improvement priorities; guide issue resolution, process stability, risk management, and long-term capability development.
  • Identify and prioritize major contributors to yield loss, process and device variation, scrap, rework, and cost; develop data-led improvement strategies and partner with process, product, equipment, quality, and operations teams to deliver measurable business impact.
  • Lead structured investigations into high-impact manufacturing issues, applying advanced root cause analysis, statistical methods, and technical judgment to resolve problems with no readily defined solution.
  • Partner with research and development, process development, product engineering, and operations to translate new technologies, materials, process flows, and device requirements into stable production capability.
  • Use advanced data analysis, statistical process control, design of experiments, and modelling to identify trends, predict process risk, and enable proactive decision-making across manufacturing operations.
  • Lead and influence multidisciplinary teams across manufacturing, process engineering, equipment engineering, product engineering, quality, planning, and operations; communicate complex technical topics to technical and senior business stakeholders.
  • Establish, improve, and sustain technical standards, process documentation, control strategies, and lessons learned to support repeatable execution, compliance, and knowledge sharing across teams.
  • Mentor engineers and technicians, build technical capability within the process engineering function, and share expertise to raise overall team performance.
  • Influence work beyond the immediate team, shape technical roadmaps, simplify complex manufacturing challenges, and deliver solutions with sustained site- or business-level impact.

About the company

ADI designs, manufactures, and sells high-performance analog, mixed-signal, and DSP integrated circuits that sense, measure, interpret, connect, and power the physical world in electronic devices. Its products include data converters, amplifiers, and power-management ICs that OEMs embed to handle analog sensing and digital processing inside their products. ADI differentiates itself through a broad, industry-spanning portfolio and close collaboration with customers to solve complex engineering challenges, rather than focusing on a single product type. Its goal is to provide reliable signal-processing solutions that bridge the physical world and digital systems, helping customers create more capable electronic products.

Analog Devices, a $192.4B chipmaker, is a key digital power IC rival with $2B data centre revenue

Analog Devices (NasdaqGS:ADI) has been named a key competitor in the growing global digital power chip market. Demand from data centres, 5G infrastructure, and electric vehicles is driving adoption of the technology, which helps manage power efficiency in large-scale computing and electrified transport. The US semiconductor company, valued at $192.4 billion, designs and sells integrated circuits, software, and subsystems across the Americas, Europe, Japan, China, and wider Asia. Management has reported $2 billion in annualised data centre revenue. Automotive makes up about 25% of its revenue mix. Investors will look for more design wins to turn into booked orders and reported power management revenue. Quarterly disclosures on digital power content per system would show whether the attention is becoming lasting, high-margin income.

Analog Devices urges shareholders to reject Tutanota's $525 per share mini-tender offer

Analog Devices (ADI) has urged shareholders to reject an unsolicited "mini-tender" offer from Tutanota LLC to buy up to 100,000 ADI shares at $525.00 each in cash. The shares represent less than 0.03% of ADI's outstanding common stock. The offer is conditional on ADI's closing share price exceeding $525.00 on the last trading day before expiry. Unless Tutanota waives that, tendering shareholders would be paid less than the market price. The offer also depends on Tutanota obtaining financing, which it says it does not currently have. The offer expires at 17:00 New York City time on November 16, 2026, but Tutanota expects to extend it for successive periods of 45 to 180 days. Shareholders can withdraw tendered shares before expiry. Mini-tender offers, which seek no more than 5% of a company's shares, avoid many US Securities and Exchange Commission disclosure rules.
