Requirements
  • Extensive experience in the use and analysis of passive and active radio frequency systems.
  • Agility with traditional analysis and modeling techniques.
  • Familiarity with model-based systems engineering.
  • Experience communicating and organizing effectively in environments where these skills were crucial.
  • Demonstrated technical team leadership and/or program management experience.
  • Ability to work effectively in a highly dynamic environment requiring diverse communication styles.
  • Demonstrated experience working within a community of multiple contractors working on different aspects of the same problem set.
  • Extensive experience developing maintenance procedures and documented maintenance requirements throughout the program life cycle.
  • Experience working within the security and information technology frameworks applied to Navy, Intelligence Community, and other federal government customers.
  • Military experience including site survey coordination and execution, radio frequency system design, implementation, maintenance, orchestration, technical design reviews, and field tests.
  • Current eligibility for access to classified information at the Top Secret level or higher, with potential government background investigation requirements to upgrade clearance eligibility.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • At least 6 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Eligibility to obtain a government security clearance.
  • Ability to participate in the ARL drug testing program and comply with electronic and physical monitoring requirements applicable to federal contractors.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
Responsibilities
  • Apply domain-relevant software and hardware expertise in near-real-time radio frequency and acoustic systems to perform process and design analysis across all systems engineering disciplines.
  • Use traditional analysis and modeling techniques, model-based systems engineering, and digital engineering tools to evaluate and validate designs and processes throughout development, testing, integration, and deployment phases.
  • Execute research, development, prototyping, implementation, and maintenance procedures for systems serving Navy, Intelligence Community, and other federal government customers while ensuring technical quality, cost control, and on-time project delivery.
  • Identify future issues, research trends, and opportunities while contributing to programs of national or international significance.
  • Develop and present current program activity status to fleet-level personnel and communicate and collaborate with sponsors and associate contractors.
  • Lead and oversee the development and proper execution of plans and proposals for new and sponsored programs.
