About the job
- At least 2 years of diagnostic and repair experience.
- Pass a pre-employment hair drug screen; marijuana is disqualifying.
- Have a valid driver's license.
- Pass a comprehensive background check.
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Have experience with on-the-job training.
- Possess customer service and computer skills.
- Be able to read and understand repair manuals.
- Possess the tools required to accomplish the essential job results.
- Repair heavy trucks and semi-class 8 trailers.
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment, HVAC, and electrical systems, including diagnosing issues.
- Perform minor to complex repairs on all types of equipment.
- Perform tire maintenance and repairs.
- Test drive equipment if CDL certified, as required.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Maintain a positive and proactive work environment.
- A diploma in vehicle maintenance from a vocational or trade school is a plus.
- Be able to multitask and work as a team.
