About the company

Kaspar Companies operates businesses that make equipment for truck owners, horse riders and shooting enthusiasts, alongside a precious metals dealer. Bedrock builds heavy-duty truck beds, Circle Brands makes saddles and riding gear, and the outdoor businesses produce rifles, rifle components and ammunition. Texas Precious Metals buys and sells gold and silver coins and bars for individual, wholesale and institutional customers, with its own mint, secure storage and fulfillment services. The group earns revenue from product sales, bullion transactions and related services through its operating businesses. Founded in 1898 from a wire-basket business, Kaspar Companies is headquartered in Shiner, Texas.

  • AI engineers share in profits: the Shiner role lists profit sharing alongside its benefits.
  • One leader rose from production: Bedrock president Greg Chumchal began in Kaspar Wire Works' paint shop.

What critics are saying

  • Paint installation demands long weeks: Bedrock lists 60-70 hours, rotating 10 days working and two days off.
  • Maintenance work involves travel: Kaspar Properties' Bryan technician listing requires up to 25%.
  • AI support reaches beyond office hours: the Shiner engineering role includes possible emergency or update on-call coverage.

What makes Kaspar Companies unique

  • Family ownership spans generations: the Kaspar family still owns and operates the group in its fifth generation.
  • Bullion sales require stock: Texas Precious Metals says it sells only what it has on hand.
  • Truck beds carry defined coverage: Bedrock backs them with a three-year, 36,000-mile comprehensive warranty.
