Requirements
  • Be a current member in good standing of the Ordre des inhalothérapeutes du Québec (OPIQ).
  • Have substantial clinical experience in critical care and emergency services.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work independently during a shift.
  • Hold a current CPR card.
Responsibilities
  • Provide complete and autonomous respiratory care coverage for the hospital.
  • Respond as a first-line emergency clinician in the Emergency Department, including resuscitations, intubations, and mechanical ventilation.
  • Provide general respiratory therapy care, treatments, and required follow-up for hospitalized patients on the ward.
  • Collaborate closely with the onsite medical and nursing teams as the sole cardiopulmonary care specialist.
