What believers are saying

  • Repeat clients support continuity: Holder says returning customers account for more than 90% of its work.
  • Training connects with craft jobs: Holder's five-week college boot camps include employment commitments from trade partners.
  • Career paths cross functions: Holder describes an employee moving from trade-responsible engineering into project scheduling.

What critics are saying

  • Project changes add coordination work: ENR's October 2026 report describes three redesigns at Holder's CloudHQ LC3 project.
  • Craft labor faces competing demand: 58% of contractors in AGC's September 2026 survey reported data-center work intensified hiring competition.
  • Candidates get fewer financial details: Holder is privately held, while Turner publicly reports its annual construction volume.

What makes Holder Construction unique

  • Data centers are a specialty: Holder reports delivering more than 6.4 gigawatts of US capacity, leading general contractors.
  • Holder controls some work directly: its own teams build structural concrete, modular walls and site-safety systems.
  • Virtual planning reaches job sites: Holder's in-house team coordinates work using models, laser scans, drones and virtual inspections.
