Requirements
  • Seven to ten years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business Administration is required.
  • Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Familiarity with revenue and expense laws in multiple states and internationally.
  • Strong knowledge of financial modeling, forecasting, cost accounting, and advanced Excel usage.
  • Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) software such as NetSuite.
  • Ability to run effective meetings, facilitate group discussions, and lead decision-making processes.
  • Strong leadership and management abilities, including the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
  • Strong problem-solving and data-driven decision-making skills, including the ability to analyze complex issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to adapt to fast-paced and changing environments and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to use a computer and work in plant areas involving heat, noise, dust, lifting materials, and equipment.
Responsibilities
  • Motivate, supervise, and lead finance, IT, and HR team members.
  • Ensure the company's financial integrity and accountability and maintain internal controls.
  • Oversee timely monthly, quarterly, and yearly management financial reports in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
  • Oversee outside audit and review activities.
  • Coordinate with executive staff to create, update, and manage the annual budget.
  • Provide guidance to executive staff on strategic business directions through financial planning, analysis, forecasting, scenario development, and advice on key directions.
  • Participate in corporate policy development as a member of the senior management team.
  • Ensure the maintenance of appropriate internal controls, financial systems, and procedures, including financial risk assessment.
  • Collaborate with other departments to create coordinated plans for business growth.
  • Oversee the employee success function, including recruiting and hiring, benefits administration, employee onboarding communication, and retention, in conjunction with executive staff and the employee success manager.
  • Oversee corporate risk management and legal activities, coordinating with outside providers to determine appropriate procedures and coverages, and review contracts, leases, and other legal documents and agreements.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Manage and oversee the company's information systems and technology strategies, working with the internal IT administrator and third-party outsourced vendors.
Desired Qualifications
  • A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credential is preferred.
  • A manufacturing or construction background is preferred.
  • Fluency in Spanish is highly desired.
