- Use programmable logic controller and human-machine interface systems.
- Operate hydraulic and pneumatic emergency shutdown systems.
- Adjust automated and manual chokes.
- Flow wells to maximize production.
- Adjust and set pneumatic liquid-dump control systems.
- Purge sand separators, gas scrubbers, and drips.
- Set regulators.
- Gauge tanks and supervise fluid hauling.
- Operate direct and indirect heaters.
