Requirements
  • A minimum of 10 years of progressive hospitality leadership.
  • A post-secondary degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience leading teams, delegating responsibilities, organizing projects, establishing priorities, and managing recruitment and employee engagement objectively.
  • Advanced experience with profit and loss management, labor cost control, and maximizing Food and Beverage margins in a dynamic, high-volume environment.
  • Proven problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to communicate information effectively and courteously to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays, with flexibility to assist the team during high-pressure periods.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee the smooth flow of day-to-day operations across all departments and work directly with department heads to implement strategy and brand standards.
  • Drive Food and Beverage operations, including quality control, menu consistency, and profitability across all outlets.
  • Guide, mentor, train, support, and coach operational leaders and staff; address human resources issues using objective performance management tools; and foster a productive, respectful team environment.
  • Ensure staff are aware of daily activities taking place in the hotel.
  • Review departmental schedules for accuracy and staffing demands and make adjustments to control labor costs.
  • Manage cost of goods sold and ensure departments operate within their budgets without compromising service delivery.
  • Maintain accountability for hotel cleanliness, curb appeal, and adherence to professional grooming and uniform standards.
  • Act as the escalation contact for guest requests and complaints, take corrective action, and improve guest satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with British Columbia Employment Standards, provincial liquor laws, and statutory employee and guest safety and security regulations.
  • Represent the resort in community and industry organizations and step in to fill vacant shifts as needed.
Desired Qualifications
  • Significant and proven experience operating within demanding, top-tier, or bespoke hotel environments with a strong understanding of elevated operations and highly refined service expectations.
  • Current experience in a Division Head role, ideally overseeing Food and Beverage operations.
