Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related engineering field is required.
  • A minimum of 7.5 years of experience is required.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience coding, building, monitoring, troubleshooting, designing, and operating AI/ML infrastructure, cloud platforms, data platforms, model deployment pipelines, or large-scale engineering solutions is required.
  • Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts and the computing infrastructure required to deploy, run, and optimize production AI workloads is required.
  • A minimum of 4 years of proficiency in programming or scripting languages such as Python, Java, C++, Bash, PowerShell, or equivalent engineering languages is required.
  • Experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools such as Apache Airflow, Kubeflow, managed orchestration services, or platform-native workflow tooling is required.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in AI/ML infrastructure engineering or related roles on a hyperscaler or enterprise platform for deploying large-scale solutions is required.
  • Experience leading AI projects or engineering workstreams and managing priorities across multiple initiatives is required.
  • Experience evaluating and selecting AI technologies, frameworks, cloud services, and architecture patterns is required.
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS AI infrastructure services including EC2, EKS, SageMaker, S3, FSx/EFS, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, and AWS DevOps/security services is required.
  • Experience architecting GPU/accelerated compute, distributed training, model serving, high-throughput storage, container platforms, and secure cloud networking is required.
  • Strong working knowledge of Terraform/CloudFormation, continuous integration and continuous delivery, Docker, Kubernetes, InfraOps, MLOps, observability, and incident response practices is required.
  • Ability to optimize AWS AI infrastructure for performance, power, cost, scalability, security, reliability, and compliance is required.
  • Experience producing architecture decision records, reference implementations, standards, runbooks, and reusable infrastructure patterns is required.
  • Strong problem-solving ability and the ability to work in an engineering or client delivery environment are required.

Responsibilities
  • Architect and build custom artificial intelligence infrastructure and hardware solutions.
  • Optimize AI infrastructure and hardware performance, power consumption, cost, and scalability of the computational stack.
  • Advise on AI infrastructure technology and vendor evaluation, selection, and full-stack integration.
  • Own the end-to-end architecture and engineering of optimized compute infrastructure for large-scale AI and machine learning systems.
  • Design scalable distributed training environments, model-serving foundations, automation patterns, and operational controls aligned with client standards, service-level agreements, security, compliance, and cost-efficiency expectations.
  • Design and tune large-scale AWS GPU clusters and distributed training systems using EC2, EKS, SageMaker, S3, FSx/EFS, VPC, IAM, and CloudWatch, including accelerator selection, interconnect/networking, and high-throughput storage design.
  • Serve as an AI infrastructure expert on AWS, applying knowledge of AWS AI/ML services, accelerators, networking, security, and cost levers.
  • Develop and evaluate architecture alternatives across compute, networking, storage, orchestration, model serving, observability, security, compliance, cost, and operational complexity.
  • Lead architecture assessments and reviews of existing and proposed environments, identify gaps, risks, bottlenecks, and optimization opportunities, and recommend remediation actions.
  • Drive architecture decision-making by documenting rationale, trade-offs, assumptions, and dependencies aligned with business service-level agreements and standards.
  • Define and maintain AI infrastructure roadmap inputs, capacity planning models, scaling strategies, cost forecasts, and performance improvement opportunities.
  • Design deployment, automation, and continuous integration and continuous delivery strategies for reliable, repeatable, and scalable releases of AI systems, models, data pipelines, and platform components into production.
  • Establish AI monitoring and observability practices across InfraOps and MLOps, including service-level agreements, service-level objectives, alerting, performance and cost tracking, and continuous optimization.
  • Integrate AI/ML systems into enterprise environments while ensuring interoperability, security, compliance, regulatory alignment, and adherence to client standards.
  • Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, architects, and engineering teams to align infrastructure decisions with business outcomes and translate requirements into actionable architecture standards.
  • Set technical direction for workstreams, mentor engineers, review designs and code, and promote engineering best practices across the team.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services.
  • AWS certifications such as Solutions Architect Professional, DevOps Engineer Professional, or Machine Learning/AI specialty or associate credentials.
  • Industry experience in BFSI, healthcare, retail/e-commerce, telecom, manufacturing, energy, or public sector environments where AI infrastructure must meet compliance, security, reliability, and cost-control requirements.
  • Exposure to large language model infrastructure, vector databases, retrieval pipelines, GPU scheduling, high-performance storage, low-latency model serving, and model optimization techniques.
  • Knowledge of enterprise architecture governance, FinOps, infrastructure partner/vendor collaboration, and production support operating models.

Accenture shares down 27%, but 11.5% yield available through put options at 35% discount

Accenture trades 37% below its 52-week high after falling 27% over the past year. In fiscal Q3 2026, new bookings declined and some managed services deals slipped into fiscal 2027. The company generated $73.1 billion in revenue over the past twelve months, with operating margins widening to 17% in Q3. Managed services revenue grew 5% in local currency. In the first nine months of fiscal 2026, clients made 104 quarterly bookings exceeding $100 million, up 13% year-on-year. Consulting revenue grew just 1% in local currency in Q3. Management attributes the slowdown to the Middle East conflict affecting regional and discretionary spending. The CEO acknowledged that client budgets have not been growing, with spending simply being redirected rather than increased.

Accenture appoints Emma Chalwin as chief marketing officer

Accenture has appointed Emma Chalwin as Chief Marketing Officer, effective 1 October 2026. She will oversee global marketing and communications, reporting to Chair and CEO Julie Sweet. Chalwin joins from Workday, where she served as CMO. She previously held senior marketing roles at Salesforce, Adobe, McAfee, and Macrovision, bringing over 30 years of global marketing leadership experience. Accenture drops LearnVantage focus, shifts $9B to cybersecurity and mid-market expansion

Accenture is shifting its growth strategy, de-emphasising LearnVantage, a learning and training business it built and promoted heavily in 2024. The company is acquiring a majority stake in an operational technology security specialist, alongside two smaller firms, combining them into a platform for critical infrastructure. These assets generate $208 million in annual recurring revenue, growing at 48%. Accenture's acquisition budget for fiscal 2026 is approximately $9 billion against $73.1 billion in trailing twelve-month revenue.
