Google names Isabel Scavetta as Product Manager.

Google names Isabel Scavetta as Product Manager. Google has named Isabel Scavetta as a Product Manager on its Product team, where she will focus on AI search experience strategy across Google Search on Android. Scavetta shared that her new role will involve work on AI-led search experiences, with a focus on how users discover and interact with information through Google Search on Android. Her announcement also noted that the work spans a global Android ecosystem with more than 3 billion devices. The appointment comes as search continues to evolve from traditional keyword-based experiences toward interfaces that incorporate generative and conversational AI. Search platforms are increasingly integrating AI into how information is presented, interpreted, and surfaced to users, creating new product and user-experience considerations. For product teams, this shift involves more than adding AI capabilities to existing search interfaces. Factors such as relevance, user intent, interaction design, trust, transparency, and the quality of generated responses are becoming part of the broader search experience. Scavetta's role is focused specifically on AI search experience strategy for Android, placing her work within this changing product environment. Her announcement also referenced the goal of developing AI-led experiences that are intuitive, helpful, fair, and accessible to users. The move also reflects the growing overlap between product management, artificial intelligence, and search strategy. As AI becomes more deeply integrated into consumer technology, product managers are increasingly involved in defining how these systems are incorporated into everyday user journeys. Scavetta was previously a Product Manager at Checkout.com, according to a 2026 professional profile listing, before moving to Google. Her appointment adds product leadership focused on AI search experiences as Google continues to develop how users interact with search across its Android ecosystem.

Checkout.Com records triple-digit US growth and launches new products to support merchants across North America.

Checkout.Com records triple-digit US growth and launches new products to support merchants across North America. 5 hours ago * US business has grown its payment volume 126% year-to-date, driven by expanding merchant relationships and new enterprise customers choosing Checkout.com to power their payments globally. * To further support US merchants, Checkout.com is introducing new capabilities across Direct Acquiring, Payouts, Issuing, plus a new solution for ISVs, SaaS platforms and marketplaces. * The US is Checkout.com's fastest-growing region with total processing volume on track to exceed $100 billion by the end of the year. NEW YORK - September 10, 2026 - Checkout.com, a leading global digital payments company, today announced that its US business has recorded triple-digit growth, as the company accelerates local investment and expands its suite of products built for the region's complexity and scale. Speaking at Checkout.com's merchant summit Thrive, Head of North America Zack Levine announced that Q2 2026 payment volume in the US has grown 126% against Q2 2025. This growth reflects a disciplined focus on the fundamentals of enterprise digital payments - acceptance rates, reliability, latency, fraud prevention, cost, and customer support - a greater share of wallet from existing partners, and new enterprise merchants choosing Checkout.com to power payments across the US. The US is Checkout.com's fastest-growing region with total processing volume on track to exceed $100 billion by the end of the year. The company now processes payments for some of the world's largest brands such as Uber, Spotify, Microsoft, eBay, Coinbase, Pinterest, and Best Buy. "We knew succeeding here meant building locally around the complexity, scale, and performance expectations of enterprise merchants in the US," comments Zack Levine, Head of North America at Checkout.com. "That investment is translating into better outcomes for our customers - higher acceptance rates, lower latency, more control, and stronger overall payment performance. As we prove that value, our relationships deepen and merchants trust us with more of their business. That's what's driving the momentum we're seeing today and the opportunity ahead in the US." With teams growing across San Francisco, Atlanta and New York, Checkout.com is introducing new capabilities designed to give merchants across North America greater control over how they accept, manage and move money. The company is also strengthening its operations across the Americas with a new hub in Mexico. Platforms: Checkout.com has launched a new solution purpose-built for marketplaces, SaaS platforms and independent software vendors. The proposition is designed around businesses managing increasingly complex flows between multiple sellers, geographies, customer groups and risk profiles, giving them greater visibility into payment performance, more control over the customer experience and economics designed to support scale. Platforms can also now embed and monetise payments without taking on PayFac complexity, risk, or regulatory burden. Direct acquiring: Checkout.com is now one of only three companies processing payments through a Merchant Acquirer Limited Purpose Bank, giving the company direct access to card networks in the US and the ability to optimize directly with networks. For merchants, that means smoother onboarding, faster product rollouts, stronger payment performance and greater control over the payment lifecycle. Payouts: Checkout.com is expanding its existing money movement capabilities across North America. To achieve full coverage of the US banking population, RTP will be added alongside ACH, bringing instant bank payments and higher daily transaction limits. Pay-to-Card will launch in Canada with Visa Direct and Mastercard Move, bringing real-time funds movement with enterprise-grade security. Together, these rails create a comprehensive payouts solution that supports a broad range of use cases, strengthening payment connectivity between the US and Canada and expanding the global reach of enterprises across North America. Issuing: Checkout.com will roll out Issuing in the US, extending capabilities already available to merchants in the UK and EEA. Merchants will be able to issue physical and virtual cards, while Checkout.com's unified platform connects acquiring, Issuing and business accounts. This can allow merchants to fund cards directly from acquired balances, reducing the need for pre-funding and improving liquidity. "Our goal is to give merchants more control over their payments and make every part of the money movement lifecycle work harder for their business," comments Meron Colbeci, Chief Product Officer at Checkout.com. "Direct acquiring in the US gives us more control over payment performance and product innovation. Our solution for platforms is built around the distinct needs of software businesses and marketplaces, while issuing connects both sides of the payments equation."

Checkout.com goes live with US direct acquiring under MALPB charter.

Checkout.com goes live with US direct acquiring under MALPB charter. Posted On 10 September 2026 Checkout.com, a leading global digital payments company, today announced the launch of direct acquiring in the US under its Merchant Acquirer Limited Purpose Bank (MALPB) charter in Georgia, marking a significant milestone in the company's long-term investment in North America. Operating through the MALPB gives Checkout.com the ability to optimize its platform for higher performance, faster operational execution, and continued product innovation for merchants in the US. The MALPB will enable direct access to card networks, reduce reliance on third-party intermediaries, and give the company greater control across the payment lifecycle. The move completes the third phase of Checkout.com's MALPB journey, taking the company from application acceptance, to charter approval, to active operation. As Checkout.com begins processing volume through the charter, it is strengthening its direct acquiring capabilities in the world's largest digital economy and building a more resilient foundation for long-term merchant performance in the US. "Going live on the MALPB is a defining step in our US journey," said Jordan Reynolds, MALPB CEO and Head of North American Banking at Checkout.com. "It reflects years of investment, regulatory rigor, and operational build-out to create a stronger acquiring foundation in the US. As we begin processing through the charter, we are bringing more control into the payment lifecycle, which will help us deliver stronger performance, greater resilience, AI-powered payment optimization, and more flexibility for enterprise merchants over time." "Georgia created the MALPB framework to support responsible innovation in merchant acquiring, and Checkout.com reaching this operational milestone reflects the level of preparation, governance, and long-term commitment required to participate in that robust framework successfully," said "Bo" Fears, Commissioner of the Georgia Department of Banking and Finance. "I welcome Checkout.com to Georgia and anticipate that it will be a key participant in the dynamic payments ecosystem in Georgia for years to come." As Checkout.com continues to expand its footprint across North America, the MALPB will serve as a foundation for the company's next phase of growth. Building on this milestone, Checkout.com plans to deepen its investment in the region through continued hiring, product innovation and the expansion of its enterprise-grade payments infrastructure. With teams growing across San Francisco, Atlanta and New York, Checkout.com is continuing to build closer to its customers and accelerate the development of products designed for the needs of the North American market.
