About the Role:
You will be a valued member of the Remitly Global Internal Audit team. You will perform compliance, operational and SOX internal audit activities across the organization. You will report to the Senior Internal Audit Manager. You will be based in Seattle, WA and will work a hybrid schedule and be in the office at least 3 days a week. #LI-Hybrid
You Will:
- Perform SOX, operational and regulatory compliance audits, including documenting processes, conducting walkthroughs, evaluating control design effectiveness, executing control testing, and assessing the impact of key control deficiencies.
- Support Internal Audit department development activities such as risk assessment, policy updates and quality assurance.
You Have:
- A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field. Public accounting experience preferred.
- 1+ years of experience in accounting, finance, law or related fields, even if not specifically in audit.
- A willingness take initiative in identifying issues and seeking solutions.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues.
Compensation Details. The starting base salary range for this position is typically $72,000-$108,000. In the U.S., Remitly employees are shareholders in our Company and equity is part of our total compensation plan.
