Requirements
  • A preferred bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, Sciences, or Liberal Arts; an MBA is also preferred.
  • At least 8 years of banking experience, including at least 5 years of structured financing experience and product manager or relationship manager experience.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
  • Solid financial and credit analysis skills, with the ability to read, write, analyze, and interpret general business documents.
Responsibilities
  • Identify and originate new client relationships in the aviation industry.
  • Identify client credit needs, determine appropriate aviation finance products, prepare credit proposals, and obtain credit limits in accordance with bank guidelines.
  • Maintain an active calling schedule and prepare call reports.
  • Negotiate term sheets, pricing, credit agreements, and other documentation to manage risk appropriately.
  • Monitor clients' credit status and business activities on an ongoing basis.
  • Meet business targets set by the department.
  • Coordinate with operations teams to support transactions.
  • Originate business from target and existing clients.
  • Determine product pricing using market research data and the Bank's pricing guidance.
  • Provide department and branch management with updates on marketing efforts, pipeline deals, and closed transactions.
  • Cross-sell other bank products and deposit services.
  • Develop new products to support client requirements.
  • Develop new products and onboard new customers in line with the Bank's risk appetite statement.
  • Provide KYC information to the Middle Office for review.
  • Comply with bank policies and departmental procedures for KYC and credit risk control, including underwriting and post-lending monitoring.
  • Set up customer profiles and update and review them in a timely manner.
  • Comply with departmental compliance and risk-control procedures when accepting customer transactions.
  • Detect red flags and unusual activities, and inform the Middle Office, escalating as necessary.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
  • Prepare presentation materials for training, marketing events, and meetings.
  • Conduct training as required.
