  • Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution.

Responsibilities
  • Provide medical evaluations and treatment for work-related injuries and illnesses among hospital staff.
  • Conduct pre-employment, return-to-work, and fitness-for-duty examinations.
  • Develop and implement occupational health programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Monitor and manage employee exposure to occupational hazards, including biological, chemical, and physical risks.
  • Collaborate with infection control, human resources, and safety teams to prevent workplace incidents.
  • Lead vaccination and immunization programs for healthcare personnel.
  • Interpret and comply with Occupational Safety and Health Administration, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and other regulatory guidelines.
  • Oversee workplace health surveillance programs, including tuberculosis testing and respiratory fit testing.
  • Provide guidance on ergonomics and workplace accommodations.
  • Participate in incident investigations and recommend corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee health records.
  • Educate staff on occupational health risks and preventive strategies.
