About the Job

Requirements

  • A university degree in Engineering or equivalent education.
  • At least 10 years of experience in project management, preferably in building automation, Building Management Systems, heating, ventilation and air conditioning, control systems, or related technologies.
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex project portfolios and managing operational and financial results.
  • At least 2 years of experience leading people and Project Management teams.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Building Management Systems, building automation systems, and associated communication protocols and networks.
  • Experience managing project budgets, planning, resources, risks, and profitability.
  • Ability to make decisions in demanding environments and manage complex situations with customers and stakeholders.
  • Professional-level Spanish and English.
  • Availability to travel up to 50% of the time, mainly within Spain.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate, and develop a team of Project Managers, promoting collaboration, accountability, and high performance.
  • Review workload, priorities, and resource needs, and assign projects efficiently within the team.
  • Oversee execution of the Building Management Systems project portfolio, ensuring scope, schedule, cost, quality, and customer-satisfaction objectives are met.
  • Monitor project and portfolio performance using operational and financial indicators.
  • Identify, assess, and manage project risks, critical escalations, claims, and potential deviations.
  • Participate directly in managing strategic or especially complex projects when business needs require it.
  • Ensure efficient resource and capacity planning to maximize productivity and profitability.
  • Drive continuous-improvement initiatives and Lean methodologies to optimize execution processes.
  • Collaborate closely with commercial, service, and other functional teams to support business growth.
  • Manage relationships with customers, partners, suppliers, and other key stakeholders.
  • Support negotiations, claims management, and resolution of contractual conflicts.
  • Contribute actively to service-conversion strategies for the installed base of Building Management Systems.
