Requirements
  • Graduating with a Doctoral degree in Materials Science & Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Must be in good academic standing with a preferred GPA above 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
  • Able to solve complex problems and take a new perspective on existing solutions
  • Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information
  • Explains difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus
  • Flexible and adaptable mindset who thrives in a results-driven culture
Responsibilities
  • Collect data, analyze it, and compile reports on basic process engineering experiments
  • Perform hardware characterization on basic systems
  • Demonstrate efficiency of Ion Implanters to support demos and meet efficiency targets
  • Troubleshoot problems, perform root cause analysis, and resolve process engineering issues
  • Preparation of clear, succinct reports to summarize technical results
  • Interact with customers to resolve basic process engineering issues/problems under direct supervision
  • Cross-organizational work with development and product marketing teams
  • Implement new technology, products, and analytical instrumentation
