Requirements
  • Strong experience in industrial maintenance, including electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Hands-on knowledge of programmable logic controller systems, troubleshooting, and programming logic.
  • Experience with AC/DC drives, control systems, sensors, and industrial wiring.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and machine repair.
  • Ability to independently diagnose and solve problems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Experience reading electrical schematics, technical drawings, and machine documentation.
  • Basic machining, fabrication, and tooling knowledge.
  • Proficiency with basic computer systems and Windows-based tools.
  • Strong math skills, including geometry, trigonometry, and metric conversions.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively across departments.
Responsibilities
  • Respond to equipment breakdowns and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Troubleshoot programmable logic controllers, control circuits, sensors, and industrial automation systems.
  • Install, modify, and maintain electrical equipment, programmable logic controllers, instrumentation, and AC/DC variable speed drives.
  • Repair and rebuild gearboxes, motors, cylinders, and mechanical systems.
  • Work with hydraulics, pneumatics, relay logic, and electrical schematics.
  • Support the design, installation, and improvement of manufacturing equipment and systems.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Production to identify and resolve operational issues.
  • Research parts, components, pricing, and lead times for maintenance projects and upgrades.
  • Read and interpret complex technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.

  • AutoCAD or technical drafting experience.
