Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience as an IT support engineer.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a network administrator supporting mid-sized to large companies.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience maintaining and implementing network infrastructure.
  • At least 5 years of experience supporting end users with network issues.
  • Hands-on experience with server hardware, routers, switches, firewalls, IP cameras, and phones.
  • Working experience with various networking protocols.
  • Strong documentation and organizational skills.
  • Strong project management and time management skills.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Networking certifications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Business awareness, service orientation, teamwork, and ability to follow instructions.
Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day end-user technical support for help desk, systems, and network issues.
  • Manage IT asset management, IT hardware configuration, and hardware and software deployment.
  • Install and troubleshoot Windows, macOS, and Linux systems and applications.
  • Create and maintain IT documentation.
  • Assist the IT engineer with IT operational tasks.
  • Monitor and maximize the efficiency and security of current networks.
  • Troubleshoot network problems and maintain network availability, security, and performance.
  • Install, configure, and maintain network devices.
  • Maintain and create network documentation.
  • Work with United States IT teams, the China network team, and vendors to design and implement new network solutions.
  • Implement disaster recovery procedures.
  • Perform other IT-related tasks and projects assigned by the manager.
Desired Qualifications
  • At least 5 years of experience planning, designing, and analyzing networks.
  • Strong understanding of security and networking best practices to protect company infrastructure.
  • Strong physical and software network troubleshooting skills for complex environments.
  • Experience with various brands of network devices, preferably H3C devices.
