  • Own the end-to-end data platform architecture with the Principal Engineer and Architect, covering ingestion through consumption across GCP, BigQuery, dbt, Airflow, and Python.
  • Parse JSON, XML, and text using Dataflow, Python, or batch jobs.
  • Define and enforce engineering standards across data teams, including code review norms, testing strategy, reusable frameworks, and CI/CD for data.
  • Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable data models and schemas for analytics and reporting.
  • Optimize data processing performance and ensure high availability and scalability of data systems and solutions.
  • Implement monitoring and alerting to identify and resolve issues proactively.
  • Ensure data quality and consistency through testing and validation in development and production environments.
  • Create, update, and maintain technical documentation for data processes, pipelines, and models.
