Requirements
  • Four to six years of Department of War professional experience in curriculum development or Navy/Department of War training development.
  • Strong technical writing, documentation, and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with senior trainers, engineers, and logistics staff.
  • A bachelor's degree in education, instructional system design, psychology, or a related training systems discipline is desired.
  • Secret security clearance.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain training documentation, including Navy Training Systems Plans, Training Project Plans, Training Systems Implementation Plans, and training media.
  • Support Job Duty Task Analysis and Training Requirement Reviews to define learning objectives.
  • Prepare and revise lesson plans, instructor guides, and Interactive Learning Environment/Interactive Multimedia Instruction courseware under senior specialist guidance.
  • Coordinate with Fleet Learning Centers and government training representatives to validate and obtain approval of materials.
  • Update course content to reflect configuration changes, system enhancements, and integrated logistics support updates.
  • Track training deliverables and milestones while maintaining alignment with program schedules and government requirements.
  • Support development of training readiness reports, Plans of Action and Milestones, and meeting materials.
