  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent is required.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the United States healthcare, medical device, or pharmaceutical sector is required.
  • At least 3 years of United States Field Reimbursement Manager experience is required.
  • Knowledge of and experience with medical benefit reimbursement and payment mechanisms, including medical coding, claims, and billing processes, are required.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of government coverage, including Medicare and Medicaid, and commercial coverage and reimbursement dynamics is required.
  • Familiarity with provider office and hospital outpatient department reimbursement, regulations, customers, and account-based planning is required.
  • Knowledge of the radiology authorization process, including HCPCS, CPT, and ICD-10 codes and associated regulations, is required.
  • Experience working with a HUB or reimbursement call center is required.
  • The ability to establish close collaboration with strategic partners and peers and lead collaborative initiatives is required.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills, including the ability to suggest alternatives and solutions, are required.
  • A strong customer focus and the ability to build relationships, identify and resolve access challenges, and manage complex projects are required.
  • The ability to operate independently and successfully as a leader in a matrix environment is required.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on reimbursement support programs, payer claim processes, and access issue resolution.
  • Develop and perform onboarding and in-service presentations, both in person and virtually, with new and existing customer accounts.
  • Provide proactive customer education for prescribers, office staff, and imagers about the Pharmaceutical Diagnostic portfolio's payer coverage policies, reimbursement processes, patient services, and benefit investigation.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for resolving general and patient-specific access and reimbursement challenges by leveraging required internal and external resources.
  • Develop access and reimbursement tools and guides and disseminate approved content related to product coverage, claims processing, prior authorizations, and appeals.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with Market Access Account Executives and Sales to provide field intelligence and prioritize key accounts regarding account interactions.
  • Attend conferences to promote GE HealthCare's Patient Support Services.
Desired Qualifications
  • Certified Professional Coding Certification.
  • Experience in radiopharmaceuticals, imaging, or diagnostics.
  • Product launch experience.
  • Living in Baltimore, Maryland, or Washington, District of Columbia, is preferred.

AsiaMedic first in ASEAN to deploy GE HealthCare's MR31 deep learning MRI platform

AsiaMedic has become the first site in ASEAN to implement MR31, GE HealthCare's latest generation MRI platform featuring deep learning technology. The Singapore-based imaging centre is among the earliest adopters in Asia Pacific. MR31 incorporates deep learning technologies that reduce scan times and enable detailed examinations across neurological, musculoskeletal and nerve imaging. Sonic DL for 3D delivers up to 12 times scan acceleration, reducing examination times across brain, spine, orthopaedic and body scans. The platform also supports high-quality prostate MRI imaging. AIR Recon DL Phase Correction provides improved visualisation of clinically significant lesions, whilst high-resolution T2-weighted imaging aids lesion localisation for prostate fusion biopsy planning. Shorter scan times mean reduced patient time in scanners and may help decrease repeat examinations caused by movement.

GE HealthCare launches AI tool to forecast hospital capacity bottlenecks 72 hours ahead

GE HealthCare has launched CareIntellect for Operations, an AI-powered software application that helps health systems forecast capacity constraints up to 72 hours ahead. The solution analyses hundreds of patient and operational data points to predict bottlenecks and recommend actions to optimise capacity and throughput. The Queen's Health Systems and Duke Health will be the first to implement the application. It uses two proprietary AI models: the Pressure Forecast model, which predicts resource constraints across hospitals and departments, and the Estimated Day of Discharge model, which predicts when patients will be discharged. GE HealthCare secures CE mark for Photonova Spectra photon-counting CT system

GE HealthCare has received CE mark approval for its Photonova Spectra photon-counting computed tomography system, enabling commercial sales in markets recognising CE marking. The clearance follows US Food and Drug Administration approval and Japanese regulatory clearance in March 2026. The system uses GE HealthCare's Deep Silicon detector technology to deliver ultra-high definition spectral and spatial imaging. It processes data volumes up to 50 times greater than conventional CT systems, utilising Nvidia's accelerated computing platform.
