Responsibilities
  • Provide customer service to members, guests, and colleagues throughout Crystal Bridges and The Momentary, including outdoor areas and gallery spaces.
  • Circulate through scheduled indoor and outdoor posts as the primary guest contact while ensuring the safety and wellbeing of guests, staff, artwork, and property.
  • Process admissions, sell and renew memberships, answer questions, and serve as a resource for guests and members.
  • Relay information about current and future exhibitions, events, programs, and amenities.
  • Observe and report criminal activity, fires, safety hazards, suspicious conditions, and suspicious persons.
  • Provide descriptions of policy violators and immediately report accidents, injuries, and hazardous conditions.
  • Circulate through scheduled posts to deter vandalism, theft, and negligence and ensure guest safety.
  • Become proficient with ticketing software, ticket scanners, and admission tablets used to process transactions and track guest information.
  • Assist guests with visit and ticketing options and suggest suitable alternatives when conflicts arise.
  • Stay informed about institutional offerings, products, policies, software, and ticketing systems.
  • Balance the individual cash drawer at the end of each shift and follow cash-handling procedures to ensure accurate revenue accounting.
  • Assist supervisors and management in researching and resolving guest-services issues.
  • Maintain organized post locations and ensure displayed materials and information are current and stocked.
  • Support Guest Experience Operations tasks during performances, events, previews, and other requested activities.
  • Handle evacuations and difficult situations according to museum policy.
  • Escort individuals through galleries before and after museum hours as directed by department leadership.
  • Drive company vehicles, including shuttles and golf carts.
  • Perform other assigned duties supporting evolving organizational needs.

  • At least six months of experience in customer service, security, or a related industry.
  • Prior experience using a computerized cash-register system and accurately balancing a cash drawer.

Ground broken on 120-acre AWSOM Whole Health Campus in Arkansas, US. Slated to open in 2029, the facility will expand speciality and virtual care for patients across north-west Arkansas and the wider Heartland region. The Alice L. Walton Foundation and Mercy have broken ground on the 120-acre AWSOM Whole Health Campus in Bentonville. Located two miles east of downtown Bentonville, the new campus is designed to serve as a regional centre for advanced health services, whole-person care and medical education. According to Mercy, the project will feature Centre for Advanced Specialty Care, a 709,000ft^2 facility affiliated with the Cleveland Clinic that will initially focus on cardiac care. Services in orthopaedics, gastroenterology, and neurology are also planned. The facility is scheduled to open in 2029 and will offer both in-person and virtual care to patients across the Heartland region. Further expansion is planned, including more than 1.1 million square feet dedicated to cancer care and a hospital with more than 250 beds and 40 operating rooms. In total, nearly three million sqaure feet of facilities are slated for the campus, Mercy stated. Mercy president and CEO Steve Mackin said: "This is a defining moment for Northwest Arkansas and the Heartland. People deserve access to world-class speciality care close to home. "Together with Alice and her team, we're building something unique, bringing leading-edge care, innovation and whole-person health to the heart of America, while simultaneously addressing some of health care's biggest problems." During the groundbreaking ceremony, the official name of the complex was announced as AWSOM Whole Health Campus, reflecting collaboration with the Alice L. Walton School of Medicine (AWSOM) and Heartland Whole Health Institute. The campus will combine speciality care, physician education and community spaces to support physical, mental and social well-being. Designed by CannonDesign, with EDSA overseeing landscape architecture and Nabholz managing construction, AWSOM Whole Health Campus is expected to establish itself as a destination for advanced care, education and community health in north-west Arkansas. Alice L. Walton School of Medicine founding dean and CEO Dr Sharmila Makhija said: "Together with Mercy, its primary education partner, AWSOM brings its educational and clinical expertise to a campus designed to integrate learning, patient care and innovation. Paykel to lead Whole Health Education efforts at AWSOM. The Alice L. Walton School of Medicine has hired Dr. Jacquelyn M. Paykel as assistant dean of Whole Health Education. In her new role, Paykel will help guide the school's approach to Whole Health education, a key component of the institution's medical training model. Paykel brings extensive experience in women's health, integrative medicine and Whole Health care. Most recently, she served as founder and CEO of S.H.E. Medical, LLC, where she led consulting and coaching initiatives focused on Whole Health practices. Prior to launching her own company, Paykel served as Women's Health Medical Director and physician in gynecology and integrative medicine at the Tomah VA Medical Center in Wisconsin. She also held several leadership positions at the James A. Haley Veterans' Hospital and Clinics in Tampa, Florida, including Chief Well-being Officer, Chief of Whole Health Service and Director of the National THRIVE Program. While serving in those leadership roles, Paykel continued her clinical practice and also worked as an assistant professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine from 2018 to 2023. Her career has also included academic and clinical positions at Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin, Prevea Health, Riverside Medical Group and ProHealth Care. Paykel's medical career began in the U.S. Navy, where she served as a Lieutenant Commander, Staff Physician and Medical Student Clerkship Director in Portsmouth, Virginia. She earned a bachelor's degree in anthropology from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee before receiving her medical degree from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. She later completed an MBA through the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill's Kenan-Flagler Business School. Her postgraduate training includes an internship in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics, and a fellowship through the University of Arizona Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine. Paykel is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and in integrative medicine by the American Board of Integrative Medicine. Dr. Pierce earned her PhD in Neurosciences from the University of Kansas Medical Center, where her research focused on early life stress, chronic pelvic pain, and neuroimmune mechanisms. Her work has been published in PAIN, Frontiers in Physiology, Neurourology and Urodynamics, The Journal of Pain, and other peer-reviewed journals. She has delivered more than 40 invited talks and keynote addresses on topics ranging from stress neurobiology to art in medical education, whole health and curriculum design. Additionally, Dr. Pierce has guided dozens of medical, graduate, and undergraduate trainees and has been recognized with multiple awards, including the Madison & Lila Self Fellowship, the Mamie E. Johnston Creative Art in Teaching Award, and several research presentation distinctions.
