- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- BLS certification is required.
- Current New Jersey Emergency Medical Technician certification or eligibility for reciprocity is required.
- Emergency Medical Technician certification is required.
- Support the emergency department clinical team in providing patient care.
- Maintain environmental readiness.
- Assist with procedures and patient care.
- Carry out specific emergency department technician duties.
- Communicate effectively with patients and the clinical team.
- Support departmental patient throughput initiatives.
- Support departmental customer service initiatives.
- Work full-time daytime hours, 36 hours per week, from 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., with weekend and holiday rotation.
- Previous emergency department technician experience is preferred.
- National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians certification is preferred.
