Requirements
  • Holds a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or an equivalent qualification.
  • Has at least 2 years of clinical veterinary nursing experience.
  • Is confident across medical, surgical, and hospital nursing.
  • Has strong anaesthetic monitoring skills.
  • Demonstrates excellent animal handling abilities.
  • Is comfortable working across multiple clinic locations.
  • Holds a current driver's licence and reliable transport.
  • Has strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Is organised, reliable, and proactive.
  • Availability across Monday to Saturday, including some weekend work, is required.
Responsibilities
  • Assist veterinarians during consultations, diagnostics, treatments, and procedures.
  • Prepare patients for surgery and assist in theatre.
  • Monitor anaesthesia and support patient recovery.
  • Administer medications and treatments.
  • Collect blood and pathology samples.
  • Perform diagnostic testing.
  • Provide hospital and inpatient nursing care.
  • Educate clients on preventative healthcare and treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate patient records.
  • Support reception and client service duties when required.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and infection control throughout the clinic.
