Traffic Control TMA Driver - Highway Striping
About the job
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required; a commercial driver's license is preferred.
- Experience operating Truck Mounted Attenuator vehicles or similar equipment is a plus.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Physical ability to lift and move up to 100 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to policies and procedures.
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, overtime, and occasional overnight travel.
- Successful completion of pre-employment background checks, drug screening, and a motor vehicle record check is required.
- Operate and drive Truck Mounted Attenuator vehicles to and from project sites and within work zones to protect workers and motorists.
- Set up, install, and maintain traffic control devices, including cones, signs, arrow boards, and delineators.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment to ensure safety and proper functioning.
- Maintain compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and Department of Transportation guidelines.
- Communicate with team members and supervisors to support traffic control activities.
- Assist with general equipment maintenance and upkeep as needed.
